We discuss the layout of your camper to build your sleeping arrangements in a way that is convenient to you. All fixings are tough, durable and M1 crash tested for safety. Flame Conversions make fixed beds, fold out beds, or pop-top sleep areas according to your preference.

Frames

Frames fit your van as a 3/4 width bed or a full width bed according to your vehicle. The standard frame material for Rock ‘n’ Roll beds are metal for a durable structure.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Beds

Vehicles are stripped inside and underneath to fix a chassis strength plate. Bed frames are fixed by bolting down through the floor and strength plate.

3/4 width beds are fitted to the rear wheel arch on one side and to the bulkhead the other side.

The full width version fits to both rear wheel arches. Seat padding and upholstery is fixed to the bed and tested for safety and functionality.

Which Rock 'n' Roll Bed?

Rusty Lee Beds

This rock ‘n’ roll bed features a fully powder coated frame. Frames are designed to take 3-4-inch foam and attached upholstery to prevent covers sliding off the seats during motion. Beds for VW T4/T5/T6 use gas struts for ease of use. The seat operates on a heavy-duty ball bearing slide to bring into the bed position. It features two heavy duty quick release spring loaded pins to lock into seat position. Rusty Lee Beds are TUV approved and M1 crash tested.

Smartbed Evolution

A rock ‘n’ roll bed system which is easy to use and good quality. Offering a ram assisted operation, reclining mechanism, powder coated frame and Evolux upholstery and under bed storage space. There are optional seat belts and head rests to make your bed system uniform. Smartbed Evolution Rock ‘n’ Roll beds are M1 crashed tested.
